The Light Beyond the Storm
In a small village surrounded by green hills, there lived a boy named Ayaan. He was known for his bright smile and big dreams. Every evening, he would sit on a rock near the river and watch the sun disappear behind the mountains. He dreamed of leaving the village one day and becoming a great inventor.
But life was not easy for Ayaan. His family was poor, and many people laughed at his dreams.
“Big dreams are not for people like us,” they would say.
One year, a terrible storm hit the village. Heavy rain destroyed crops, houses were damaged, and hope seemed to fade from everyone’s hearts. Ayaan’s family lost almost everything. For the first time, he felt afraid that maybe the villagers were right.
One night, as he sat by the broken riverbank, he noticed something unusual. A small lantern was floating toward him. It belonged to an old traveler whose cart had been damaged in the storm. Ayaan helped the traveler repair his cart and offered him food, even though his own family had very little.
The traveler was impressed by Ayaan’s kindness and determination. Before leaving, he handed Ayaan a small notebook filled with designs and ideas.
“I was once like you,” the traveler said. “Dreams don’t belong to the rich. They belong to the brave.”
Ayaan spent years studying those designs. He worked hard during the day and learned at night. Slowly, he began creating small machines that helped farmers grow crops even during difficult seasons.
Years later, Ayaan became known as the man who brought light back to his village — not just electricity, but hope.
And whenever people asked him how he succeeded, he would smile and say,
“Storms don’t destroy dreams. They test how strong they are.”
